Hello Elite Families and Happy Spring!  I apologize ahead of time for the length of this newsletter, but yes, it's that time of year again and there is a lot of information that needs to go out... Please take a moment to read carefully!

Recital Info - 

This year our Studio recital theme is "The Grammy Goes To..." and our Ballet performance theme is "Cakewalk/Stars & Stripes".
 
What is the schedule for recital week?
Spring Ballet Performance "Cakewalk/Stars & Stripes"
(This show will include all Ballet classes Kinder and up)
Saturday, May 16th - Ballet Rehearsal @ Elite
ACT I- 9:00-11:00 
 ACT II- 11:00-1:00
Saturday, June 13th - Ballet Dress Rehearsal @ Liberty High School
 ACT I- 9:00-10:30
 ALL DANCERS- 10:30-11:30
 ACT II- 11:30-1:00
Ballet Performance "Cakewalk/Stars & Stripes" 
 Shows: Saturday June 13th at 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm      
Spring Recital "The Grammy Goes To..."  
(These shows include all Pre-dance, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Company Classes)
* All rehearsals and shows at Liberty High School
Wednesday, June 17th - ACT I Rehearsal 5:00-9:00
 Thursday, June 18th  - ACT II Rehearsal 5:00-9:00
Friday, June 19th - Recital Dress Rehearsal
Act I- 9:00-11:30
 All Dancers- 11:30-12:30
Act II- 12:30-2:30 
Spring Recital "The Grammy Goes To..."
Shows: Friday June 19th at 6:30 pm
 Saturday June 20th at 11:00 am and 5:00 pm

*Pre Dance classes will perform at the Sat 11 am show only.
*5-7 Tap and Kinder Jazz will perform at the Fri 6:30 pm and Sat 11 am shows. 
I will be emailing out a complete recital packet in May. This packet will include details on rehearsal schedules, show times, recital line up, room mom volunteer sign up, dressing room info and more!

Recital Costumes-
Our annual tradition of "COSTUME WEEK" is just around the corner and I  know all our dancers will be so excited to return to classes after Spring Break.  The energy and excitement at the studio is always at an all time high during this time!

 

Teachers w ill  take a few minutes during each class to have their dancers try on their costumes to ensure proper fit, discuss tights/undergarment requirements and decide on placement for accessories.  If everything fits, the dancers will be able to take their costumes home.  We sure hope they will follow our directions and immediately hang up their costumes once they arrive at home!  If you happen to miss class that week, you may pick up your costume from the front desk or from your teacher at the end of class time the following week.

** If there are any problems with costumes, please bring them to our attention as soon as possible so we can do our best to resolve the problem before picture day!

Recital Tights-

The teachers are working on finalizing their recital tights. By mid April, I will email out a list for each class and we will have a full stock of tights available to purchase at the front desk.

Recital Tickets-

We will be using TuTuTix again for this years Ballet Performance and Studio Recital. 

Tickets will go on sale starting May 1st.  We will send out ordering information in April.

Picture Day-

P icture Day is
Sunday May 17th.
..Mark Your Calendars!  I will be sending out the picture schedule at the end of April. Pictures will be taken at the studio by Northwest Sports Photography.  Order forms will be sent home with dancers the week of pictures.


Dates to Remember-

 

Elite is closed for Spring Break, March  23rd to March 27th.
Elite is closed Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day.
Last day of regular studio classes is Friday, June 12th.

Summer Classes & Camps-

 

Elite's Summer Session will run July 6th - August 14th 
Our summer schedule will include day camps as well as afternoon and evening classes. 

Online registration for Elite's Summer Session will begin April 15th.  

Fall Session 2020-2021

 

Fall pre-registration will begin  on May 18th.
Fall classes will begin on September 14th.

I live to swim in our pool at home, paint, sew with my mom, photography, and sleep

In 20 years I see myself as a photographer and a pediatrician
