🎄 Holiday Office Hours Update 🎄

The Elk Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce office will be closed for the holidays through January 5th. We hope everyone enjoys a joyful and restful holiday season!

Starting in January, the Chamber will transition to new winter office hours, and our physical office will be open Tuesday–Thursday each week.

While our in-person hours are shifting, please know that we are still here for you. You’re welcome to reach out at any time throughout the week, and our staff will continue to respond remotely.

Ring in the New Year with us at The Blue Pelican! Open New Year's Eve from 4 PM to 9 PM. Enjoy live music in the dining room—reserve seating in this section for entertainment!

We're serving our full regular menu along with NYE specials. Please note, there will be no early bird specials on New Year's Eve.

Our New Year’s Eve Buffet is the perfect way to kick off your night before heading downtown for the 9PM Elk Rapids Ball Drop.

Prime rib carving station, shrimp cocktail, lemon herb chicken, mac & cheese, a full dessert bar with a chocolate fountain… it’s a celebration all on its own.

A Killer New Year's Eve

Wednesday, December 31st - 6:30pm to Midnight

The Overlook at The Chief

Join us for Night of Murder and Merriment to Ring in the New Year! At Overlook at The Chief Bellaire

Tickets:

$95/person (includes Prime Rib buffet dinner, 4 drink tickets, murder mystery, music and dancing after the murder mystery along with pizza party and champagne toast at midnight)

Dress Code: elegant suggested, but not required

Event will kick off with cocktails at 6:30pm. Buffet dinner will be served from 7-8pm.

The interactive Murder Mystery will kick off at 8pm with an intermission approximately 9:15m. .

Prizes will be awarded between the end of the Murder Mystery and the beginning of the music.

Music and dancing will follow the Murder Mystery until 1am with a champagne toast at midnight.

The documentary uses cutting edge technology to explore how the invasive quagga mussels are changing the Great Lakes eco-system at a scale not seen since the glaciers.
