Friday 4-H Nugget
Welcome to the First Edition of the Friday 4-H Nugget! This will now serve as our new 4-H Newsletter and replace our paper copy of the Ensemble. Be on the look out on the first and third Friday of each month to get the latest 4-H news.

Be sure to provide the Educators feedback on information that you want included into this important newsletter.

4-H Enrollment Open Now!
4HOnline is now open and we are processing enrollment. 4-H Members and Volunteers will need to enroll for the 2019-2020 4-H Year.

Please be sure to complete your enrollment now so that you can get the latest news and information from the Extension Office. Our enrollment period is from October 1-January 15 each year.

Paper copy's are available in our office and if you need assistance please call our office.
Upcoming 4-H Scholarship Workshops
Saturday, November 2 nd and Saturday, November 23 rd from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Purdue Extension Office.

Both workshops will cover the same material. These workshops are geared towards teaching 10 th -12 th graders about all of the scholarship opportunities available to them because of their 4-H experience.

The workshops will also teach basic resume and cover letter writing techniques as well as provide a number of tips and tricks that judges look for. Contact Sthele for more details.

Dairy Foods Team at State
Our Dairy Foods team had a great time at the state contest. Our Sr. Team brought home 4th place in the 4-H division and 2nd overall in the Jr. Division.

Congrats to our team members: Pierce Lucas, Lydia Nisen, Oliver Nisen, Owen, Nisen, Owen Sutton, Ethan Sutton, and Andrew Bailey.
Leaders Banquet RSVP
Organizational, Assistant and Project Leaders, be sure that you have RSVP'd for the upcoming banquet. They are due on November 7. The banquet is on November 12 @ 6:00 PM in the ECCC Building.

We will also have a change to the Leader of the Day program. At this time we will not have nomination forms there. We will still have the Family of the year forms at banquet. If you have questions please talk with Robert.
4-H Volunteer Information
There are two new forms that clubs will need to complete in order to assist the Extension office in keeping track of program efforts.

  1. Social Media. If your club has a social media page please be sure to complete this form. Social Media Form
  2. Club Fundraiser form: If you are hosting a club fundraiser please complete this form. Club Fundraiser Form
  3. Using the 4-H Clover on a T-Shirt or on other items? Please be sure to complete this form. Clover usage form

Be sure to complete these in a timely manner and return to the Extension Office.
