Message from Our CEO

This year marks an important milestone for Elluminate — 30 years of advancing women’s leadership and driving social change.

At our recent Global Jewish Women’s Leadership Summit, we brought together 100 extraordinary Jewish women nonprofit CEOs from across the U.S., Israel, and beyond. Over two days, we did more than reflect — we began building something new.

What became clear is that this moment calls for more than individual leadership. It requires connection, coordination, and collective voice. The Global Jewish Women’s Leadership Network is our response — a platform to bring leaders together to collaborate, influence, and drive impact at scale. This work is both timely and urgent, and we are excited to invite you to be part of this next chapter.

Together, we are not only supporting leaders — we are shaping what comes next.

Warmly,

Melanie Roth Gorelick

Elluminate CEO

Inaugural Global Jewish Women's Leadership Summit

This spring, Elluminate convened 100 Jewish women nonprofit CEOs from across the U.S., Israel, and beyond for our inaugural Global Jewish Women’s Leadership Summit — a two-day strategic working session to shape the future of collective impact.

Through facilitated discussions and interactive sessions, participants explored key areas shaping the field:

  • Jewish Women’s Leadership and the Path Forward
  • Building a More Equitable and Inclusive World
  • Advancing Equity and Justice through Collective Impact
  • Gender Justice, Women’s Safety, and Security

The Summit also included affinity groups, workshops, and geo-specific sessions that deepened relationships and informed the Network’s emerging structure. These conversations surfaced shared challenges, identified areas of opportunity, and clarified where coordinated action is most needed.

The Summit culminated in the formal launch of the Global Jewish Women’s Leadership Network and the identification of initial priorities to guide its work. These priorities will shape the Network’s first phase of programming and collective action as we move into implementation.

30 Years of Investing in Women

Over three decades, Elluminate has:

  • Invested $10 million in advancing women's leadership and social change

Celebrating Cohort 6 of The Collective

This spring, we proudly celebrated the completion of Cohort 6 of The Collective, marking the culmination of a two-year leadership journey.

The Collective Cohort 6 represents women who are creating impact in diverse areas, from combating antisemitism and protecting access to abortions to ensuring gender equality and ending child sex exploitation and trafficking. They come from diverse backgrounds — leaders who are lawyers, social workers, rabbis, educators, activists, and thought leaders; leaders who represent the breadth of Jewish spirituality and practice; leaders who come from diverse backgrounds and from communities around the world.
