Women’s Equality Day: Celebrating the Women Leading Change and Investing in What Comes Next

Dear Friends,

As we mark Women's Equality Day, I find myself energized by what lies ahead for Elluminate—and by the significance of this moment. This day offers an opportunity to reflect on the progress women have made, the work that remains, and the importance of investing in women’s leadership to create a more equitable future.



This fall, we will welcome Cohorts 7 and 8 of The Collective, bringing together another extraordinary group of Jewish women nonprofit CEOs leading social change in the U.S., Israel, and beyond. We are also taking an exciting next step with our Global Jewish Women’s Leadership Network, creating a year-round home where women leaders can connect, mentor one another, share expertise, build partnerships and coalitions, and increase their collective impact.

And we are creating more opportunities for all of you to be part of this work. Through the Visionary Circle, our Israel Journey, Convening 2026, and other gatherings throughout the year, we invite you to learn from the women closest to today’s pressing issues, build meaningful relationships, and help strengthen and elevate Jewish women’s leadership.

For eight years, Elluminate has invested in exceptional women leaders and the organizations they lead. Today, we are building on that foundation—connecting leaders and philanthropists in new ways and creating the relationships, resources, and opportunities that enable women’s leadership and impact to grow.

There is so much ahead, and I look forward to beginning this new year together.

November 15-19

Elluminate invites you to join us in Israel for an inside look at the women and movements shaping social change and gender equality.

Travel with us from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to the South and northern border as we meet women nonprofit CEOs, policymakers, legal advocates, academics, and social entrepreneurs working to strengthen civil society, advance gender equity, and build a more just and inclusive future. Through candid conversations, behind-the-scenes access, site visits, and firsthand experiences, we will witness the realities on the ground through a distinctly Jewish and gender lens.

For the past eight years, Elluminate has invested in Israeli women leaders through The Collective. This Journey offers a unique opportunity to experience their leadership and impact firsthand.

Elluminate is proud to join Jofa and partner organizations for a special Zoom briefing with Cochav Elkayam-Levy, the Israeli human rights lawyer behind the landmark report Silenced No More on sexual violence committed against women and children on October 7.

In conversation with journalist Abigail Pogrebin, Cochav will share not only the report’s findings, but the story behind its two-and-a-half-year development—the resistance, breakthroughs, and challenges of pursuing justice when the world is not always ready to listen.

Welcoming Cohorts 7 & 8 This Fall

As we begin a new program year, we are excited to welcome Cohorts 7 and 8 of The Collective, Elluminate’s signature leadership advancement experience for entrepreneurial Jewish women nonprofit CEOs leading organizations advancing social change in the U.S., Israel, and beyond.

Through leadership development, peer learning, mentoring, and connection, The Collective invests in the women behind this work—strengthening their leadership, expanding their voice and influence, and accelerating their impact.

Following its launch earlier this year, Elluminate’s Global Jewish Women’s Leadership Network is moving into its next phase. This fall, we will launch a new virtual platform that will serve as the Network’s year-round digital home—connecting feminist Jewish women leaders across geographies, sectors, generations, and areas of expertise. Members will be able to find and connect with one another, share ideas and expertise, participate in mentoring and affinity groups, build partnerships and coalitions, and create new opportunities for collaboration and collective impact.

The Network builds on Elluminate’s investment in Jewish women’s leadership and serves as the lifelong leadership home for graduates of The Collective, while welcoming additional invited leaders who share our mission and values.
