History Student Wins Award at Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society Colorado Springs Regional Conference
Scholars from Colorado State University Pueblo recently made their mark at the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society Colorado Regional Conference, hosted on Saturday, April 20th, at University of Colorado Colorado Springs. With passion and precision, each student brought their original research paper to captivate an audience eager for intellectual discussion.
Drawing participants from a diverse array of colleges and universities across the state, the conference provided a vibrant platform for historical exchange. Among the representatives from CSU Pueblo, Kerowyn Kersten presented a thought-provoking research paper titled “Imperial Cult and the Worship of Augustus,” illuminating facets of ancient Roman culture. Similarly, Julie Fellion presented on the complex character of “Livia Drusilla and the Moral Ascendancy of the Early Roman Empire,” offering new insights into the dynamics of power and influence.

Colorado State University Pueblo Announces Tuition Discount for Active-Duty Students
Pueblo, CO, 5/6/24 – Colorado State University Pueblo is proud to announce a significant milestone in its commitment to supporting the educational pursuits of active-duty students. The CSU System Board of Governors has overwhelmingly passed a proposal to make education more accessible for military personnel, beginning in Fall 2024.
“CSU Pueblo continues to strive to enhance our military friendly policies and procedures, and adjusting our tuition for active-duty service members is evidence of this effort, because we believe in supporting these students, and are grateful for their service to our country.” Said Kristyn White Davis, Vice President of Enrollment Management and Extended Studies at CSU Pueblo.

CSU Pueblo Awards Exceptional Faculty & Staff at Annual Luncheon
Faculty and staff assembled at the Occhiato Student Center Ballroom on Thursday, April 25, for the yearly employee recognition luncheon. Every award category was designed to acknowledge and honor the accomplishments of faculty, classified and professional staff, exceptional teams, and a student-chosen award. These accolades commend employees who have exceeded expectations throughout the academic year. Nominations for these awards come from both CSU Pueblo students and staff members, with each recipient chosen by a dedicated committee comprising students, faculty, administrative or classified staff, and past award recipients.
