PUEBLO, Colo., June 24, 2024 - In a testament to CSU Pueblo's commitment to fostering local talent and strengthening community ties, students from the university's Public Art & Entertainment class are set to showcase Pueblo's vibrant arts scene. The class will host "The Creative Experience," a free public event featuring music, poetry, and art at Fuel & Iron Food Hall on Thursday, June 27, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

NEW: Workday Chosen as the New Human Capital Management System

On behalf of MCCR

With considerable input from campus stakeholders, the Human Capital Management (HCM) project team has selected Workday, a leading provider of human resources solutions, as the new shared, multi-campus HCM system. The Workday human resource solution will replace multiple systems supporting human resource and payroll functions for CSU Fort Collins, CSU Pueblo, Spur Campus, and the System office.

"Utilizing an industry-leading service like Workday underscores Colorado State University's commitment to excellence and innovation in higher education. This collaboration ensures we provide the best possible solutions for our staff, faculty, and students, solidifying our role as a leader in the academic community,” said Armando Valdez, president of CSU Pueblo.

To facilitate the implementation and deployment of Workday over the next 18 months for launch in January 2026, CSU has partnered with Accenture, a global professional services firm that offers a broad spectrum of expertise in strategy, consulting, digital, technology, and operations. The result will be a transformation of the CSU System’s HR and payroll operations into a seamless, integrated, and efficient process.

The implementation of Workday will start in July and continue through December 2025. Please visit the HCM Project SharePoint site for detailed information about the new HCM system. This site includes a project timeline, news, and continually updated information along with a form for submitting questions and providing feedback to the project team.

Please read the attachment article for all details.

REMINDER: Changes to the Aladdin Catering Billing Process

On behalf of Auxiliary Services

This notice is a reminder regarding catering invoice billing and CaterTrax. A change was implemented to the Aladdin Catering Billing Process, these changes went into effect January 2nd, 2024.

Please review the following:

Payment Methods:

All catering bookings will be processed using a P-Card, replacing the use of an index code/account number.

If Order Exceeds P-Card Limit:

If the catering expense is expected to exceed the P-Card limit of $3,000, you will need to initiate a purchase order in the KFS system. This should be completed at minimum 10 days prior to the event. A purchase order number should be sent to Jerry Carter with Aladdin.

If Your Department Does Not Have a P-Card:

You will need to work with Cabinet-level supervisory authorities to utilize division or other department cards.

Authorized Business Function Forms (ABFFs):

To ensure seamless service, all ABFFs must be submitted at minimum, 10 days prior to the event. Please note that Aladdin has been instructed not to service any catering without the submission of this form or a P-card on file.

Payment Confirmation:

For transactions processed through the P-Card, you will receive a "Paid" invoice upon the completion of your event. This invoice will serve as your official receipt for the transaction.

Questions?

If you have questions or need further clarification on the new billing process, reach out to Josh Gurley at extension 2611.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to providing you with an improved catering billing experience.
