Hi! My name is Trevor and I am the newest member of the St. Vincent de Paul Orlando Management Team. Giving back to my community has always been important to me. And even though I was born and raised just outside of Philadelphia, having lived in central Florida for more than a decade, it’s safe to say I consider Apopka and the surrounding areas to be my community. Although I can be serious if the situation warrants, overall I consider myself to be a fun-loving kind of guy. So in that vein, here are a few fun facts about myself:
- I was raised by clowns, literally. On the weekends, my parents would don their big, red noses and over-sized, floppy shoes and perform comedy magic acts for children’s’ birthday parties.
- I consider myself an expert balloon artist. Having grown up in the entertainment business, I’ve trained myself in the fine art of animal balloon twisting and can now create anything from basic cats and dogs to life-sized super heroes and transforming robots.
- I’ve traveled the world with an all boys singing choir. I have performed on stage in 46 different states, most of Canada, and was even pictured on a billboard while touring through Japan.

I met my wife on E-Harmony, purely by accident. When the website asked me for a search radius, I accidentally entered 50 miles instead of 5. The commute was terrible, but well worth it and, in a few months, we will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul aspires to “… build a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.” This mission is so important to me, especially today, when so many are struggling. It is these core values that drew me to the Society and inspire me to be a better version of myself every single day. Although I have only been in this position for a few, short weeks, I have already met so many wonderful people. Working at the St Vincent de Paul Thrift Store in Apopka has been like finding a new family to belong to. So please stop by and say hello. I cannot wait to meet all of my new friends!
