Dear Reader
You only miss something when it is gone. Already people are telling us they miss the Today newspaper. Eventhough the convenience of receiving this newsletter via email is highly rated, actually having the physical printed newspaper in one's hand somehow enhances the reading pleasure significantly. Nevertheless, reading the news on a device, be it a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop, is now so entrenched in our society that for some, reading a newspaper is completely passé.
So we are sticking with the newsletter service for now. Hence, the decision has been made to continue with the email newsletter as a compliment to our news website. We will also be tweaking this newsletter format as we gradually migrate it to the format of a completely digital newspaper, what we are now calling the electronic newspaper or e-newspaper.
As a test, we have incorporated video into this edition of the newsletter as an indication of what is possible and what is to come as well. Stay tuned for more news on that topic in future editions.
The polls are meant to increase the interactivity between the readers and the newsletter to get their opinions on the trending topics of the day. We are certain many of you are curious about the results of the polls. We will publish these in an article in the newsletter over the weekend.
In the meantime, do enjoy reading and viewing this edition. You can email us via
info@today.sx if you wish to advertise as well or buy a subscription in support of our work.
