Dear Reader

Investigative authorities are circling the wagons around member of parliament and UD-leader Theo Heyliger.

The circling seems to be like the tightening of a noose around the neck of the embattled politician and elected leader of the country of St. Maarten.

Concern goes out of the family and children of the arrested associates of the MP as they are hard hit by the news of the arrest of the patriarch on their family.

Meanwhile on another front the noose seems to be also tightening around another politician as his ongoing battle with the minister of TEATT takes on a new height - or new low - depending on one's perspective of the matter.

Clearly, the teachings of Niccolo Macchiavelli are being followed to the letter.

Equally disturbing is the following of the teachings of the Art of War by the world powers. In light of the Sun Tzu military strategies that are being followed and implemented where it concerns the slowly escalating situation in Venezuela, the Dutch Caribbean islands would do well to also strategize about scenarios that greatly impact the economies of the islands. There is where a good dialogue with the biggest Kingdom partner comes into play.

We wish all much strength, wisdom and patience in dealing with the matters that impact our lives, our families and our future.

In the meantime, happy readings!
