Dear Reader

Time for some reflections.

As a father who has also lost his first-born son, my heart goes out to our good friend, Dennis Richardson.

The saying always goes that no one knows the pain you are going through. Not true! Yes, we do! We went through that pain ourselves.

And so has many others.

Theo Heyliger. Franklyn Richards. Jean Halley. And many other men we know. We all have experienced the pain. The loss.

So, Dennis we are here to share your pain. And feel your hurt. We will mourn together with you.

We will also mourn with Imran Macsood Amjad, who has also lost his mother today.

Our deepest and heartfelt sympathies goes out to the Richardson and the Amjad families.

On behalf of the staff and management of StMaartenNews.com, please accept our condolences.
