Dear Reader
Winair immediately announced that it would postpone its resumption of flights from this coming Friday to next week Tuesday to coincide with the opening of the PJIA SXM Airport.
This constant change in dates the airlines keep giving, may be a bit confusing for some and may be cause for additional uncertainty as many would like to finally get home and get back to work and to school.
Talking about school, today is World Teachers' Day and eventhough we may be experiencing a shortage of school teachers, we have not one but
two messages on our website to help boost the morale of the teachers on the frontlines in classes helping their students regain a sense of normalcy this fourth day after schools re-opened on Monday.
A sense of normalcy may be exactly what some in our community are lacking. Hence we commend the offer of the APAP SXM to help with the psychological recovery. For that, we urge you to review the
Government Information Page in this newsletter as it contains valuable info on this topic.
For the rest, we wish you all a Happy World Teachers' Day on the 5th of October 2017.
