Dear Reader

If you do the crime, you do the time. An often heard expression when court sentences are handed down by judges.

But what if you didn't do the crime? What if it is an honest mistake? Is there such a thing as an 'honest mistake' a colleague asked during our editorial discussions yesterday.

How many of you have sent a whatsapp message and regretted afterwards?

Luckily, now Whatsapp has a 'Delete For All' feature where you can delete messages sent and received by a recipient. As long as they have not yet 'read' the message, you can still recall and delete the message.

Not only do we often send things to the wrong person, but in the heat of the moment, we send a message we shouldn't have sent. Passion, excitement, hubris, even curiosity, spurs us to send a message. But then we regret it. It has happened to all of us and it can happen to anyone.

Should we be convicted for sending a whatsapp message we shouldn't have sent? We think not. But the judge in the case of attorney at law Brenda Brooks wanted to send a clear message.

People in certain positions should think twice about sending certain whatsapp messages. Worst case scenario, quickly hit that Delete For All option. You will be so happy and relieved you did.

Have a great day and do enjoy reading our news articles in this edition.

We have opened up our article about former minister Romeo Pantophlet now for our registered users as well.
