Dear Reader
The Dutch government wants the Netherlands to obtain a seat on the UN Human Rights Council in Geneve.
For that they will need the support of the other Kingdom partners to lobby on their behalf.
Here is a great opportunity for the governments of St. Maarten, Curacao and Aruba to do some serious bargaining with the government in The Hague.
We always believe that getting what you want from the Dutch is always a matter of negotiating. Geven en nemen. The
problem
with the Dutch though, is that they give too little and
take too much
.
Time for St. Maarten to make use of the opportunity presented and reverse the tables for once. That for sure isn't asking too much.
In the meantime, happy readings!
