Dear Reader

In our newsletter today, we report on ten women who have been recognized for their contributions in our society. These women include the gifted and talented Helen Hart, recognized with a PHF for her inspiring musical work with the youth. We also congratulate our colleague in the industry, Alita Singh, for her award as well.

Today, we also bring you a special report entitled “ A Cinderella Story or The Case of The Mass Miscommunications?”. You will have to have a paid subscription in order to read the full report. This is the first segment in a 3-part series on this topic.

Today, we also report about the Governor receiving the final report from the informateurs, a process that well-known Constitutional expert, Julio Romney, considers not only a waste of time and money but also an infringement on our democratic rights. We will be bringing you an article about his opinion on this matter.

Julio Romney also advised that we change our slogan from “The Virtual Newspaper for Country St. Maarten” to just “The Virtual Newspaper for Country St. Maarten”. So you also know now how he stands on this issue as well: he does not consider St. Maarten a country. More to come on this topic as well...

We hope you enjoy this issue of our newsletter. We certainly enjoyed putting it together and we had lots of fun because of what is yet to come.

Have a great day!
