Dear Reader
The rumor mills are grinding out stories about candidates failing the screenings for ministers.
Why would candidate ministers subject themselves to a screening they should surely be aware of that they will not pass?
Is this some form of masochism? Or is this as some claim, merely a smoke screen?
If you ask us, it would be as if they are using flash grenades to create that smoke screen. Because honestly, we don't know who is fooling who when candidates are put forward or allow themselves to be put forward for a screening they cannot pass.
It is like going to school to do an exam you fully well know you didn't study for. Why bother? You have better odds of playing bluff poker in a casino with junk cards than trying to pass a screening with a number of skeletons hiding in your closet. You're card dead on arrival.
The next candidate for Prime Minister had better be holding pocket aces if he or she wishes to pass the screening with flying colours.
How about a banker with impeccable credentials for MinPres? An auditor for MinFin and a legal mind for MinJus? Who knows his or herself well enough to brave the scrutiny of a secret service screening?
That being asked..... you can now login and update your account profile with StMaartenNews.com without much comprehensive screening.
