Nagico's Imran McSood: "85% of claims settled by month end"

Dear Reader

Sea conditions are definitely dominating the news today. The imminent threat of a tsunami being announced via social media has people on their toes, ready to run to the hills.

Although clearly a hoax, the concern on everyone's mind cannot be denied. Increasing frequency of earthquakes, storm surges, high winds and social media hysteria can be a recipe for disaster should panic unnecessarily break out.

However, Mother Nature is only busy cleansing herself, as can be seen from the videos posted in the updated news report below about the Sargassum seaweed invading Maho Beach with the latest videos of the beach area.

This apparent storm in the seas is the direct opposite to the silence surrounding the information process. Luckily, MP-elect Wycliffe Smith, our recommendation for President of Parliament by the way, gives us some insight into the (in)formation process with his article about the formation of Parliament and Government.

In an interview with Hilbert Haar, Mr. Imran Amjad McSood also gives insight into the present state of the insurance business as it pertains to Nagico's settling of hurricane claims and the consequences for the premiums moving forward.

We welcome you to read today's edition and also to take part in the poll and give us your opinion. We will publish the results tomorrow. Hopefully, we will also be able to publish the official election results as established by the Central Voting Bureau as well.

In the meantime, do have an enjoyable day!
