News reaching our newsdesk indicates that a meeting between the police unions and the minister of justice has yield the desired result with the intention of signing off on all pertinent wishes by next week, including the finalization of the function book by next week Friday with ratifications by the Council of Ministers and the Governor.

We also look forward to news about the appointment of a new prison director as the acting prime minister has indicated during COM's press briefing today that the Council of Ministers is awaiting the advice on the appointment of a new prison director to be submitted.
