We can't wait to see our HFM Family this Saturday, February 3rd from 6 pm - 9 pm for the Hemophilia Foundation of Maryland's Annual Meeting and Family Educational Dinner. The event will take place at the Westin BWI, situated at 1110 Old Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090. Thank you to our Main Event Sponsor, CSL Behring!

We are pleased to announce the participation of Kim Drucis, CPNP, and Dr. Keates from the Johns Hopkins Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorders Treatment Center at this gathering.

Please note that our final headcount must be provided to the venue TODAY. Consequently, any cancellations received after 1:00 pm TODAY (1/29) will be subject to a $30 cancellation fee per person. This policy has been implemented to ensure prudent allocation of our economic resources, especially considering the budget constraints we are currently navigating as we embark on the 2024 program year.

Join HFM for Maryland Advocacy Training Day and Legislative Visits in Annapolis on Monday, February 19, 2024, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (may end earlier depending on the time of your legislative appointment).

We will then transition to advocacy role play before breaking for lunch and proceeding to the State House for appointments with your legislative representatives. Your voice is crucial. - Advocacy role play

- Lunch break

- Travel to the State House for appointments with legislative representatives

**Note:** We have a limited number of hotel scholarships available for attendees residing more than 30 miles from Annapolis and who would like to attend. Travel vouchers are also available to participating families.

Key Issues:

- Copay accumulators

- Formulary hemophilia drug exclusions

- Freedom of specialty pharmacy choice

- MVP Act to facilitate Maryland medical assistance patients' access to gene therapy
