PM Modi, U.S. Defense Secretary Mattis Pledge to Continue Strong Partnership

India and the U.S. have pledged to continue their strong bilateral strategic partnership, the Pentagon said after a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis on the sidelines of the International Institute for Strategic Studies' 17th Asia Security Summit in Singapore.




Govt. Sets Guidelines to Assure Safe, High-Quality Adventure Travel in India

In order to assure a safe, high-quality tourist experience in the booming sector of adventure travel, the Government has set new guidelines for operators. The aim is to help adventure tour operators understand execute safety procedures consistently in trekking, bungee jumping, paragliding and other activities.


 

Govt. Puts Protocol in Place to Speed Up FDI

The Government has put in place a detailed protocol for clearing all foreign direct investment (FDI) proposals in an effort to speed up approvals, bring greater transparency to the process and increase ease-of-doing-business in India.
