I Got My Tree Up...Did You?

I can't believe how fast December is flying by...but this seems to happen every year. It feels like it was just yesterday that I was enjoying some Thanksgiving R&R time!

I got my tree up last weekend and had fun decorating with some new ornaments that I picked up this past year. They always get the premiere spots on my tree. And I try to snatch a good photo of Beverly in front of the tree whenever she cooperates.

Spotlight on Emberstone...new Bulky Yarn from Berroco

Emberstone is one of the newest yarns this season from Berroco. It blends natural wool, alpaca, and cotton into a cozy chainette yarn with rich jewel tones and a lightweight feel. I love to collect ornaments for my tree. This year my tree is decorated with the new metal and enamel ornaments from Fox & Pine and the glass ball ornaments from Emma Ball. There are also a few hand-knit ornaments featuring the designs from Arne & Carlos using the Christmas ball mini-skein sets.

Build a Kit Bar..this Saturday December 13th 12-3PM

Corinne from the Knitting Lounge in Simi Valley had a build a kit bar at her booth at the SoCal Fiber Fair a few weeks ago and I loved the idea.

I wanted to try out something similar at my shop so it's happening this Saturday December 13th from 12 - 3 PM.

For this 1st event, I've selected a few kits featuring the yarns from Urth and Gusto. I have beautiful samples for each kit project and I just re-stocked on these yarns so there are tons of colorways to choose from. Each kit includes the yarn and the pattern in a gift bag or box.

The weather forecast is fabulous and I'll be set-up on the sidewalk in front of the shop pop-up style. Join me for this FUN and FREE event!

Sip & Stitch will be Back in the New Year on Jan 7th

We had such a good time last week at the Holiday Sip & Stitch with the elephant-style gift exchange. Maybe we'll do it again at the next one on Wednesday January 7th in celebration of "Little Christmas".

This event is FREE and meets in the shop from 4-6PM.

Course & Wale has decided to shut down their business, but I'm stocked up on their fine teas and wines for sale during this event.

Friday Fiber Friends Meets Every Week!

Join us in the shop every Friday from 12 - 1:30PM for Community Stitching Fun! Bring your current project or pick out your next project. Get some help or give some help. There really are no rules!
