Dear Earthlight Promotions Soul Friends,

April showers may bring May flowers, but lately it feels more like April floods putting out burning oil fields. Cancel, clear, and delete the images of war that appear on social media, mainstream news, and podcasts this month.👺 With seven planets in Aries the first week of April, I suggest listening to calming music, such as binaural beats, to soothe the soul, balance the brain, and steady our nerves. I do not suggest watching mainstream news since it is made to grab your attention, lower your mood, and make you fight with people from different backgrounds, parties, or faiths. Now is the time to picture a new world led by the kindness of caring women, where war is unthinkable as a means of securing resources. Imagine a world where preschool teachers earn more than politicians, organic farmers earn more than lawyers, and holistic healers earn more than drug company sales reps. 

Hold steady. The last full moon was hard for everyone, especially for sensitives. On March 28th, I joined a Community Sweat Lodge that helped clear old wounds and pain, making room for lighter and better feelings. I believe the newest generation is born for empathy, peace, mind-reading, kindness, creativity, and love. As elders, our task is to gently guide them, provide spiritual nourishment and fresh local food, and encourage time outside without screens. I remain optimistic and hopeful about a global shift to a better Earth, where enough people live in well-being and ease. In this world, bombs and violence from extreme leaders become memories in home school history lessons.

The folk song "Scarborough Fair” by Simon & Garfunkel, recorded July 26, 1966, kept playing over and over in my head once the month of April started, not sure why I played the version with lyrics, realizing the song was later reworked as "Canticle" with “ The Side of the Hill” an anti-war song (set to a new melody by Art Garfunkel to accompany the traditional song "Scarborough Fair". I encourage you to take a moment to watch the video included below, and place your consciousness on peace to everyone on both sides of multiple current wars firing off around our Blue Planet that his month is turning Red, peace for the children, women, men, and soldiers dying for resources that one side or the other feels they have a right to controlthat benefits the 1% only, and a group of souls coerced into fighting each other. Beam Peace, Light, Freedom, Love, Justice, Balance, and Harmony now on our Blue Planet!🌍

Dante Baker has been a native of the Washington, D.C. area his entire life, growing up in Reston, VA. Since his childhood, Dante has always been fascinated by human anatomy and its ability to heal, move, and process. This interest led Dante to study and earn a variety of certifications in personal training and massage therapy. Through his personal life experiences and the influence of family and peers, Dante embarked on a journey that would ultimately lead him to pursue health on a more holistic level. In 2011, Dante was introduced to transcendental meditation by Dr. Mahapatra Gyanendra, one of the personal physicians of the Mararishi meditation course. This practice shone a light on his inner stillness, which he had never experienced before.

 Dante was fascinated by Eastern philosophies, such as Chinese medicine, and enrolled in a nine-month Qi Gong and Tai Chi Ball certification with Master Nianzu Li (L.Ac) in 2013. He went on to strengthen his Qi Gong practice and began to teach personal clients as well as larger classes at various health studios. His passion for exploring different modalities of holistic health led him to discover Singing Bowls and Tibetan bowls in 2013. By linking up with yoga instructors like Atticus Mooley, he integrated singing bowls into yoga classes as a unique way for students to find deeper levels of meditation during savasana. Being part of many different yoga classes inspired him to take a 200-hour Yoga certification course from SOYA (Canada) in January of 2016. As an E-RYT 200 Yoga Instructor, Dante holds CEU courses in the D.C. metropolitan area, teaching other yoga instructors how to play sacred instruments and use their voices to create vibratory frequencies that promote wellness.

For Dante, Yoga is much more than just a form of exercise; it is a path that opens the doors to explore the mind, body, and spirit. Students in Dante’s class are directed to stay focused on creating proper alignment within the asana and to consciously relax into each posture. Challenging asanas are suggested but never forced upon anyone, and modifications are always demonstrated to ensure that everyone can participant no matter what level they are at. At the end of class, students leave feeling physically restored and mentally rejuvenated.
