ake a break from the holiday crowds with family activities celebrating the winter season at Rio Rancho’s City Center! Winterfest Celebration is a fun way to kick off the holidays. There will be a parade, a visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus, ice skating, and a craft show at the Santa Ana Star Center. This year’s theme is “Seussville”.
At 5:00 PM the City Center plays host to one of New Mexico’s largest nighttime holiday parades. Attracting nearly 100 entries and hundreds of spectators, the parade will feature marching bands and beautifully decorated lighted floats. The route will take the parade from the Santa Ana Star Center and circle in front of City Hall, up King Boulevard, and in front of HP. This is truly a special event, and one that shouldn’t be missed!
