I'd like to thank the partners, customers and prospects who attended Sage Summit last month in New Orleans.  This year Sage put together their best ever combination of thoughtful speakers and engaging break-out sessions.  Rather than standard key note speeches from Deepak Chopra, Colin Powell,  Jane Seymour and others, we were treated to watch the interaction between these game changing leaders.
 
Next year in Chicago, the partners are committed to provide even more services to our customers and prospects including more extensive pre-conference individual assistance in selecting sessions and schedules as well as providing a way to contact and meet up with WAC Solution Partners for assistance and information during the conference.  We will, of course, have our Customer Appreciation Dinner as well.

Acumatica- leading the way with innovative add ons


The Seattle-based cloud ERP provider, Acumatica, unveiled a new content pack for Microsoft's Power BI application that lets users better process data from Acumatica.

The content pack allows users to bring information from Acumatica into Power BI to take advantage of the latter's capabilities when it comes to visualizing and filtering information, so it's easy for people to see information like the number of sales made in different cities.
Thanks to the integration, Acumatica and Power BI users will be able to take advantage of the cross-platform features in Power BI.

The oData for this application is included "out of the Box' for Acumatica and this feeds into the Power BI pack offered as a third party add on.

Alzheimer's- A Cause to Remember

 

 

Kari-Ann Ryan, our own Marketing Director for WAC Solution Partners, works tirelessly to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Association through the Northwest Walk to End Alzheimer's.  

 

She not only raises personal funds and is the Team Captain for the Lost Souls team, she is also the Co-Chair for the walk committee.

 

This month Kari-Ann held her annual FUN-Raiser to support Alzheimer's and raised over $3000 by selling sponsorships and raffle tickets.  It was an amazing event and everyone seemed to have a great time.  You can view some pictures here

 

She is working towards an aggressive personal goal this year of $8000 and is currently at around $5500. The walk takes place on September 12, 2015 and fundraising will continue after the walk through the end of the year.
