Dear Strawbridge family:

As of yesterday, Mission Constructors are almost ready to place concrete for our new building’s foundation on October 23. 

Nearly 50 piers drilled 10’ deep have been installed, and as can be seen above, steel reinforcing for underground beams connecting the piers and the floor slab are in place. The yellow sheeting is a moisture barrier, and the extra beams in the vicinity of the workmen are to support the stairs up to the second floor. In November framing of the wood structure will begin, and we should see it begin to rise above the temporary green fencing surrounding the site!

The project remains within budget and on schedule for occupying the new building in May 2026. As always, Bill Koerner will be happy to answer your questions via email at bill.koerner@gmail.com.
