Dear Strawbridge family:

Our congregation approved proceeding to build out the 2nd floor of the new building in sync with construction of the 1st floor at last Sunday's Called Church Conference. This will provide a new youth area and will free up existing space that can be dedicated to our missions, additional Sunday School rooms, and a choir robing/storage area. We plan to be able to open both the 1st and the 2nd floors of the new building together in May 2026.

Please remember the upcoming Groundbreaking Celebration for the new building on Sunday, August 24 after our 11:05 am worship service with snow cones available for all!

This summer’s work is now complete on schedule – all existing buildings have been re-roofed, the Choir Room renovated, and the existing air conditioning equipment has been relocated in preparation for groundbreaking on the new building. We appreciate the flexibility of those whose Sunday School classrooms were not available from time to time due to this work.

As summer draws to a close and folks return from vacation to fill our Sanctuary – remember it will be helpful - for those that are able to make the walk - to please consider parking on the streets to ensure we have enough parking for all while some spaces are taken by the construction yard.
