A year to Take Courage

To quote Brene' Brown, "You can choose courage or you can choose comfort. But you cannot have both." We hope you will join us as Emerge women choosing to Take Courage! And we hope you will join us in our events and activities in the year ahead. While we are hopeful we will be able to gather for many of these happenings in person, we are allowing for alternate plans to ensure most can still happen virtually if necessary. Here are highlights of the exciting things underway:

If held in person : Sunday October 4, 3-5 p.m.

If Virtual : 2 1-hour sessions October 4 & 11, 4-5 p.m.

Katie Vance Lucas will lead us in understanding this powerful tool and how it can help us identify and comprehend the way we think, feel and act in relation to the world, others and ourselves. It is highly recommended that participants read The Road Back to You by Ian Morgan Cron & Suzanne Stabile in advance of this event.

Join us as we explore a culinary and spiritual experience. We'll select 1 chapter from the book Taste & See (you do NOT need to purchase the book), and study God's word while creating and savoring food directly related to the scriptures. Learn how to nurture deeper connections around the table and taste and see God's goodness.
