Emergency Food Support Needed

To Congregants and Friends of TBE:

As most of you already know, SNAP benefits have been discontinued leaving millions of people without meaningful food security. We are blessed to have Schoke JFS in our community which has a robust Kosher food pantry feeding literally tens of thousands of people throughout all of Fairfield County. Many of these people are seniors, holocaust survivors and families. In October alone, they provided food to just under 1,000 people – a “slow” month.

We anticipate that number to grow exponentially and rapidly, and could use your help. The power of the community to come together to support this crisis is far greater than any of us can do individually. While food donations are always appreciated, what we are going to need are funds to purchase food. Please donate via https://www.ctjfs.org/donate/.

Thank you for your help, and Shabbat shalom!
