From Zeco Krcic, Assistant Vice President for Facilities, Planning and Operations:

As we enter the winter months, we would like to remind you that the fastest way to find out if Queens College will be closed due to a snowstorm or other emergency condition is to go to www.qc.cuny.edu/communications/emergency_announcements/. There you can see if/when the campus will be closed and if the QC Shuttle Bus will be operating.

News about weather-related closings also will be distributed through CUNY Alert (sign up at www.cuny.edu/news/alert.html), on the QC homepage, college email, and the college's Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts, as well as on radio stations WCBS 880AM and WINS 1010 AM, and on TV stations NY1 and WNBC Channel 4.

Only essential personnel will need to report to work in person, in consultation with their supervisors. Other staff members should work remotely.

Remember, for the fastest and most authoritative information on closings, go first to www.qc.cuny.edu/communications/emergency_announcements/.
