The City of Indian Wells marked the beginning of September’s National Preparedness Month by gathering alongside our first responders in remembrance of the nearly 3,000 lives lost, over 6,000 injured and the heroic efforts of first responders 20 years ago on 9/11/2001.

“We Will Never Forget” means more than remembering that horrific day—it means recognizing that we can never be too prepared for the unknown. Here in the Coachella Valley, that could mean earthquakes, floods or fires.
