Hurricane Season Preparedness

We hope everyone across the diocese came through Wednesday night's storm safely. That storm is a clear reminder that now is the time to create your emergency plan and gather supplies for hurricane season. Whether you are preparing for your family or organizing procedures for your congregation, our website has helpful tools and resources for you.

We have recently reorganized our preparedness page and we invite you to look at it.

Forming a Disaster Leadership team for your parish is one of the best ways to ensure that your church and congregation are properly prepared and to see that all those carefully laid plans are realized during the typically chaotic time after a disaster strikes.

Karla duPlantier and Pastor Michelle Aguirre will lead an Emergency Preparedness Training on Zoom in Spanish, for Spanish speakers and for those who support Spanish speaking communities.

Stay tuned for registration.

We are so excited to gather for Family Camp at Solomon Center over the Labor Day holiday. And just in — Father Ron Clingenpeel will be bringing us his music alll weekend long.

If you are having any issues with online registration, please register with Solomon Center directly at (985) 748-6634.
