Emergency Proclamation, Executive Orders, and Updated MDH Vaccine Bulletin

Today, Governor Larry Hogan and the Maryland Department of Health (MDH) released a new emergency proclamation, order on healthcare matters, an EMS workforce order, and an updated MDH provider bulletin. Healthcare Matters Authorizes certain actions by the Secretary of Health. Allows for expanded scope of healthcare practitioners' licenses. Allows nursing graduates to function as full RNs, with supervision. Allows interstate reciprocity for healthcare licenses & inactive health care practitioners to practice. Activates the Maryland Responds Medical Reserve Corps. EMS Workforce Order Authorizes certain actions by MIEMSS to augment healthcare workforce. Updated MDH Provider Bulletin Per FDA, expands booster/additional dose eligibility and other technical amendments.
