Emergency/Disaster Preparedness plans are a very important part of a day care program's first aid kit. It is the part that has all the information needed for your program to handle emergency events with calm efficiency.

Part of this in-depth class is creating an emergency plan that can be used in preparing your license/renewal approval packet.

Emergencies can happen anytime and in any weather conditions. It is important for ALL staff to know their responsibilities so they can ensure the safety of the children in their care. When staff know what do, children are less fearful and understand their teacher knows how the keep them safe.
