QuikEval – The answer to making Job Evaluation Easy & Accurate

Job Grading – simple and accurate, every time!

There is no one simple answer to making job evaluation easy, as it is a complex process that involves analysing and comparing various roles within an organisation to determine their relative worth. However, we have the simple and accurate solution - QuikEval ensures that your Job Evaluation/Grading needs are met in a way that is accurate, defensible, cost-effective & consistent. This intuitive web-based system has graded thousands of roles across several countries and a range of industries. QuikEval uses the Paterson method of job evaluation as its primary methodology as it relates levels of complexity in a way which both management and workers find reasonable, equitable and fair.

How can QuikEval help make the process easier?
  • It establishes clear job requirements, clearly defining the duties, responsibilities and skills required for each job. This helps ensure that the role/s are evaluated consistently.
  • QuikEval uses a standard methodology – adopting a standardised approach to job evaluation – ensuring fairness and consistency in the process.
  • QuikEval has vast data on factors such as skill requirements, experience, and education to help inform the evaluation process.
  • Stakeholders can be involved – including HR professionals, managers and employees in the evaluation process can help ensure that all perspectives are considered and that the process is seen as fair and transparent.
  • QuikEval is continuously being reviewed and updated. Updating job evaluations can help ensure that they continue to reflect the changing needs of any organisation.

  • To set the pay mix (guaranteed vs. variable).
  • To offer appropriate starting rates.
  • To design and modify salary structures and pay scales.

WORKSHOP: Job Profiling and Job Evaluation

Both of these workshops are accredited with The South African Board for People Practices (SABPP) and the South African Reward Association (SARA)

Job Profiling - The ability to define accurate work design for both current and future roles is essential to creating a structure that can achieve organisational objectives. Our accredited 1-day Job Profiling workshop ensures that you can skilfully and consistently develop accurate job profiles that support all HR processes. This accredited workshop is both theoretical and practical, and is typically attended by anyone that reviews, develops, or interprets the various elements of organisational development.

  • Recruitment & selection.
  • Role orientation.
  • Training & skills development.
  • Supervision requirements.
  • Job evaluation.
  • Remuneration / compensation.
  • Performance management; and
  • Labour relations.

At the end of this one-day workshop, delegates will have the necessary skills to develop/validate job profiles.

Job Evaluation - underpins good practice from three perspectives: 1. HR; 2. Reward; and 3. Relevant legislation. It is the systematic process of determining the worth of one job in relation to that of other jobs in an organisation. Our accredited 2-day Paterson Job Evaluation workshop is typically attended by those that require both theoretical and practical understanding of the Paterson method. By completing this workshop, you will be able to conduct consistent and accurate job evaluations for your organisation.

Job Evaluation is a systematic way of determining the value/worth of a job in relations to other jobs in an organisation. Job Evaluation is useful in that it:
  • Indicates the relative ‘size’ or ‘weight’ of a job.
  • Does not look at the volume of work assigned to a person but rather the demands, complexity, responsibility, and competencies required.
  • Provides a basis for designing an equitable pay structure (internal and external equity).
  • Provides a defensible framework for pay differentiation (Equal Pay for Work of Equal Value Legislation) &
  • Observes grading rules, therefore eliminates potential subjectivity.

At the end of this two-day workshop, delegates will have the necessary skills to conduct accurate, reliable & consistent job evaluations. QuikEval, our web-based Job Evaluation system will provide the basis for demonstration of a web-based job evaluation system.

Rem101 - Remuneration refers to the total package of compensation and benefits that an employee receives in exchange for their work. This can include both monetary compensation, such as salaries and bonuses, and non-monetary compensation, such as health insurance, paid time off, and retirement benefits.
If you are looking to understand the fundamentals of Remuneration and Reward, this 2-day workshop is for you! We focus on taking best-practice theory to best-fit practical application, so you can successfully participate in remuneration conversations and design appropriate remuneration structures.

If you want to start your career as a remuneration expert and specialise in Remuneration/Reward, this workshop provides the necessary foundation and knowledge. Remuneration is a key component of an organization's overall human resource strategy and plays a critical role in attracting and retaining talent, motivating employees, and supporting organizational success.
We host all our workshops and programmes via a hybrid approach, allowing our facilitator, delegates, and viewers to stream in virtually or to attend in person. For more info email [email protected]
