CREW San Antonio's Emerging Leaders is launching a special 3-part lunch series on "Gender & Perceptions -The Impact & Influence" this fall. Level-up your leadership skills at this exclusive members-only workshop presented by Cindy Cohn coming up August 24th, September 15th, and October 20th.
Gender & Perceptions – The Impact & Influence
“Understanding Unconscious Bias in the Workplace”
It is a well-documented fact that men and women have different perceptions and perspectives and see the workplace differently. And our perceptions influence the way we judge each other’s behaviors, intentions, and successes or failures, creating unconscious biases. Understanding these biases is a key to ensuring your strengths are clearly seen, knowing the pitfalls to avoid, and being seen as the leader you are.
In this 3 part series based on the research presented in the bestselling book The Male Factor, we will dive into some of the unspoken rules men operate by, understand what men perceive as emotional behavior and how they view it in their coworkers, and investigate how women can unintentionally trigger the male sensitivities. By completing this workshop you will come away with some eye-opening observations and truths that can impact how you are perceived for years to come.
