2021 Emerging Philanthropists Fund Grant Recipient
We were very excited to award the 2021 Emerging Philanthropists Fund Grant to Illinois Ability Sports for the creation of The Mason County Community Splash Pad. This splash pad will provide low-income children and individuals with disabilities a safe and fun opportunity to enjoy an outdoor activity free of charge. Nothing of this nature previously existed in Mason County to serve these children.

CFCI staff and Emerging Philanthropist Fund members took a trip to Bath, IL to see the splash pad in action at the grand opening! The sun was shining and it was the perfect day to open this great, new attraction. CFCI CEO/President Mark Roberts even tested it out, which was a HUGE hit with the kiddos!
