Riding For Our Cause
In its 9th year, the annual Hogs For Dogs Bike Run rolled out of Adamec Harley Davidson on Saturday, March 2nd. This event brought motorcyclists together for a very worthy purpose: to help support the much-needed animal welfare programs at Clay Humane. Dark skies and pouring rain did not stop motorcycle enthusiasts from all over North Florida from riding to help the animals! More than 120 bikers began a scenic 125-mile ride through three counties.
Poster Contest Winner Chosen
Congratulations to our 2018 poster contest winner Emily Phipps from Tynes Elementary School! Emily created artwork which promotes the importance of spaying and neutering to prevent pet overpopulation. Emily’s artwork was featured on a billboard on Blanding Blvd… what a way to get the message across!  Also congrats to our 2nd place winner Rylie Mason and 3rd place winner Chloe Toney both from RideOut Elementary. Happy Cat Ever After

We are excited to share that both kittens found on dangerous Jacksonville interstates late in 2018 have found their forever homes! Following surgery for a degloving injury to her jaw, Emerson (pictured below) recovered quickly and was adopted by her rescuer. Buckman, (pictured above) named after the bridge he was rescued from, didn’t have such a quick recovery. His injuries, to include a shattered pelvis, were much more extensive and so Buckman spent nearly 3 months at Clay Humane healing. But, last week, he was finally ready to head to his new home. Thank you to all who shared and cared to help these two find their happy endings!

We hope that you will consider being a generous supporter of our programs that help so many animals in need - like Emerson and Buckman. Your kind gift enables us to reach more animals… to prevent more suffering and needless deaths.  LEARN MORE .
