Our management and staff are thankful for the opportunity to continue serving Emery Federal Credit Union.

Emery Federal Credit Union converted to NewSolutions in 2011. Todd Cain leads their team as President/CEO. The credit union is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, has $157 M assets, and 13,392 members.

Emery is a member of the Share One CUSO and plays a very integral role in helping us beta test and develop new products.

The full day of presentations will utilize two separate webinar session links - Morning and Afternoon. Be sure to register for both.

In the morning session you will hear from Teri Van Frank, President/CEO, and from our CUSO Board of Directors. You are invited to participate in a Q&A session following their remarks.  The morning session will end with a 30-minute break.

The separate afternoon session will feature our leadership team highlighting important operational content, NewSolutions/NS3 products' current and planned enhancements, and many other details. Time for Q&A is planned.

The registration provides space for advance comments or questions.

Quality of Life Core Release Planned for January 2021
We are hard at work planning a very exciting NewSolutions January release. 

The Quality of Life Release will solely prioritize system clean-up and/or fixes. 

We want each credit union to help us get all of the variables organized. 

We are asking you and your team to submit three (3) system clean-up requests which you have asked for in the past.

(We will not focus on new enhancements in this release.) 

Include a case or tracker number of CLEAN-UP/SYSTEM FIXES requests your credit union has previously asked for so we can review submissions for accuracy. Each credit union will get one submission which includes 3 requests.

Promotion - Zachary Miller
Zachary Miller was promoted to Mobile Project Lead in Development. Zachary began his career at Share One in May of 2015 as a Sales/Marketing Assistant. In January of 2019, he became Share One's Salesforce Certified System Administrator and has helped lead implementation of the Salesforce applications. He acquired his Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Christian Brothers University.
New Employee - Kent Barton
Kent Barton has his bachelor degree in computer science from Neumont University. He has been professionally developing since 2010, and took a break of over four years serving active duty as an Engineer Officer in the Marine Corps. His roles in Information Technologies include DevOps and database management in industries ranging from banking, retail, government contracts, inventory management, and web site development.
Important Change in NS3 Update Policy
In an effort to provide better support and increased performance for your NS3 products, we are requiring all NSHome versions be updated as soon as possible.

We will discontinue direct support of previous major releases of NSHome (versions 2.18.X or older). 

This will help us serve you by offering fixes and enhancements to the current product release. 

Once tested and verified, your credit union will be updated to the newest release to receive those necessary updates. 

Our NSLoan and NSJoin products will be updated automatically once a release is available. 
 
Any major NSHome release will be scheduled once a calendar quarter following your core NewSolutions upgrade. 

This does not affect patches made to a major release that may occur between major releases. 

If the current release has core dependency, your credit union must receive a core upgrade before receiving necessary updates to NSHome.

Release Notes and Release Note Webinar
New and Improved Release Notes are Now Available!

We have reworked our release notes to improve their usability. You will see a difference with our new revamped format. They are designed to help you keep all of the NewSolutions changes at your fingertips. The new release notes are an active document that we will update as new versions are released.

The release notes containing NewSolutions version 20.1 will contain a description of the build and then include all updates for any additional versions will be added to this document.

The Table of Contents will list each version and contain that version's specific details making Release Note changes easier to identify and keep them centrally located.

Release 20.1 is now available for upgrade and the new feature to schedule your own upgrade date will be available on the Portal beginning September 21, 2020.

You will be able to schedule your upgrade, appoint who to contact at your credit union, and leave us a note.

From the home page navigate and click on the bar titled "Release Notes." Look in the upper right corner of the Release Notes page. Place your cursor in the box and a calendar will appear. Select the date, enter the person to contact, add any notes, and then submit.

User Login to the Portal is password protected.
