ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING: Our Annual Congregational Business meeting is this Sunday, September 16, at 12:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The agenda will include the presentation and vote for the 2018/19 General budget. Copies of the proposed budget are in the foyer, and available for review. There will also be an introduction and explanation of the proposed by-law revisions. Families with children will be accommodated in the overflow room. All Emmanuel Church members and regular attendees should plan on attending this important meeting.

FINAL MOVIE NIGHT:  Join us this Friday, September 14, at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary for our final Summer Movie Night. We're showing the fun, "kid friendly" film, Tangled, and will enjoy a pre-show performance by YouTube Sensation Brian Hull. There will also be trivia, prizes, and much more, including a raffle for signed prints from Disney animator and director Tony Bancroft, and another surprise from a Tangled insider. TUESDAY NIGHT WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY: The Fall Women's Evening Bible Study starts  Tuesday, September 25, at 7 p.m., in the Lower Auditorium. THE FORUM - UNDERSTANDING ANXIETY:   Please join us in the Forum on Sunday, September 30 at 11 a.m. in the Family Room. This class will be a 2-week discussion that will help you better define what anxiety and panic are, and provide some practical tips on how to feel less anxious.
