Welcome to the Fall Quarter Doctoral Clinical Experience Program (DCEP) Newsletter.  An important part of the DAOM Program is that every fellow takes a lead in determining their educational and professional goals. In large part as professional healthcare providers, your education and professional goals are linked. The DAOM DCEP allows fellows, to choose, plan, and execute Mentorship, Preceptorship, and Service Learning projects related to their areas of interest in order to develop deeper learning.

In the Newsletter we're going to go over:
  • DAOM Clinical Hours and SAP
  • Updated Approval Requirement
  • DocuSign
  • Evaluations Forms for Fall Quarter 2018 Projects
  • Applications for Winter Quarter 2019 Projects
  • NEW Onsite Preceptorship Forms for EC Technical Supervisors and Teaching Assistants

The DAOM SAP updated in Winter Quarter 2018 ( https://www.emperors.edu/publications/), requires that each Fellow complete at least 50 clinical hours in either a Mentorship, Preceptorship, or Service Learning Project. Starting Winter Quarter 2019, all Fellows will need to register for a project at the beginning of each quarter.

Please visit https://daom.emperors.edu or https://daom.emperors.edu/daom-course-syllabi/ for more information on the difference between Mentorships, Preceptorships, and Service Learning.

As a reminder please read the whole email so that you don't miss any important details. This is where we will include useful links and other information. If you think something is missing that should be included in the newsletter please let us know.
