Clinic Rounds Registration
DAOM Fellows may chose either Thursday or Friday evenings for the rounds on the non-DAOM Weekends.

DAOM weekends subject to priority and seniority, and your shift cannot conflict with your Medical Presentations.

Priority Registration
Due to teaching and safety issues in the clinic, the maximum number of students per shift is capped at 6. What this means is that for DAOM Weekends, priority for the shifts will go to students from out-of-state, and then based on seniority.

Fellows that live in Southern California may request to be scheduled on the DAOM Weekends if there are extenuating circumstances that create a conflict in scheduling and can only come DAOM weekends with the approval of Dr. MoraMarco and Dr. Kim.

As noted in the Registration form Clinical rounds shifts are capped at 6 student on a given shift and priority is given to fellows traveling the greatest distance for the program. Please contact them as soon as possible to ensure a space on DAOM weekends. Please note that Fellows must get final approval from Dr. MoraMarco and Dr. Kim before attending on DAOM weekend, credit will not be given for attendance on those dates without prior approval from the Deans.
Quarter Long (50 hour option)
DAOM Fellows are automatically registered in a 12 hour Clinical Rounds shift, or a once per month rotation. DAOM Fellows have the option to register for a 50 hour Quarter-long / weekly shift.

The benefits of the Quarter-long option are that Fellows may complete all 100 hours required Clinical Rounds hours in 2 quarters (or 1 quarter if signed up for 2 Quarter-long shifts on Thursday and Friday).

A 50 hour Quarter-long shift also fulfills the 50 hours SAP Requirement for the quarter in place of a Mentorship, Preceptorship, or Service Learning Project Requirement.

DCEP Project Registrations - Mentorship, Preceptorship, Service Learning Projects
DCEP Project Registrations
Remember to Register for you Summer Quarter 2019 DCEP Projects. To fulfill Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), Fellows must complete 50 hours in either Mentorship, Preceptorship, or Service Learning, or any combination thereof.

Typically Fellows will focus on one project at a time, but may also complete 2 projects simultaneously, i.e. 25 hours in Mentorship, 25 hours in Service Learning. The 50 hour Clinical Rounds Quarter-long will also satisfy this requirement.
