Announcements During Scheduled Class Time
Until further notice, use of classroom time for students making announcements has been suspended. Based on input from students, the DAOM Committee will review and determine policy regarding student announcements during scheduled classroom time. This includes, but not limited to, announcements by the DAOM Cohort Representatives and Professional Associations.
Members of the student body may use time outside of the classroom to make announcements or hold discussions, but should not be made to a captive audience, i.e. to students getting ready to start class. Group discussions and presentations should be related to the topic of discussion, and are moderated by the attending faculty.
It is important that the DAOM classroom is dedicated to the educational topics and that students are free to learn. The DAOM Committee will review this item. In the interim, If any student is using classroom time making announcements unrelated to the topic at hand, please bring it tho the attention of the DAOM Office.
