How to figure out when you lift:

I get this question a lot. There is no perfect answer but I'll give you way to guesstimate. If you are in flight B or C, count the number of lifters in the flights before you and multiply that number by 3. For instance, if you're in flight B and there are 12 lifters in flight A, 12x3=36. This means flight A will take APPROXIMATELY 36 minutes to get through their 3 attempts of squats. After flight A completes all 3 attempts of squat, we will move right into flight B for their squats and then on to flight C for their squats. Then flight A will start again with their bench press attempts and so on.

If a session has approximately 45 athletes in it, it will take approximately 8 hours to get through the session.

The schedule is as follows:
6:30am Athlete Check for for ALL athletes

7:00am Weigh In begins

9:00am Lifting begins

I estimate we will finish with lifting between 4pm and 5pm.

Best lifter awards are given to the top male and female lifter using the DOTS formula which calculates strength per body pound. I will give best lifter awards to those age categories with at least 6 lifters. (6 open, 6 JR, etc).

Other awards will be given to the top three lifters in each age group (teen, open, master , etc). We take the best (highest number) lift of your squat, bench press and deadlift and total them together. The highest total wins. The second highest wins silver and so on.

If you are not able to be present to receive your award, please make sure you have appointed someone to receive it for you. It is disrespectful to just disappear after you lift. If you do not appoint someone to receive it for you, I WILL NOT mail them out to you after the fact.

Still more to come!!
