SPECIAL EVENTS
Saturday 6/6 • Empire Spring Invitational
Groupings at 11:00 a.m (UTR 2.0 - 3.0). and 2:00 p.m (UTR 3.0-4.0)
Juniors Ages 11+ and Adults Empire Tennis Academy
Empire is excited to host our annual Spring Invitational for Juniors & Adults on Saturday, June 6th with two separate divisions where players can register. From 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., players with a UTR between 2.0 - 3.0 are invited to compete. From 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., players with a UTR between 3.0 - 4.0. are welcome.
Each of the above events will have a total of 8 competitors playing a total of 3 UTR Verified matches over the course of 3 hours. Matches will consist of playing 2 short sets to four games with no- ad scoring. If players split sets, a 10-point tiebreaker will determine the winner. Players will play in a compass draw, and the player who wins all three matches will take home a trophy.
Saturday 6/13 • Boys H.S. Doubles Tournament
5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. • Empire Tennis Academy
Empire is excited to invite all boys in our program who played on their JV or Varsity school team this past season to participate in our Annual Boys Doubles Invitational on Saturday, June 13th from 5:00- 8:00 pm. Each player will invite one of their teammates to come and play with them. If you played doubles throughout the season, you are encouraged to bring your partner to the Invitational, but anyone from your high school team is also accepted. Players will not be allowed to compete if the partner they sign up with is not on their high school team. Players must sign up with a partner. This is a UTR Verified Event. Format will depend on the number of teams.
Saturday 6/27 • Parent/ Child Play Day
5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. • Empire Tennis Academy
Please join us for our next U8 Parent-Child Play Day on Saturday 6/27 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm! Coach Jason will lead activities and fun games for both parents and children to partner up and participate with each other. Kids ages 5-8 can register with their parents. There are a few spots remaining, so please let us know asap if you are interested in attending.
Joining this event is a great way for both the parents and children to bond with each other and help grow and develop their love of tennis. If you've taken a break or would love an opportunity to get on the courts in a fun and structured play date with your child, this is the perfect event to get your kid back in the swing of things!
The cost to register is $18. If you are interested in signing up, please email glaiza@empiretennisacademy.com. Limited Spots are available and will be given to players on a first-come first-serve basis.
