2026 SUMMER SEMESTER EVENTS

7/6/26 - 9/4/26

Our Summer Semester will commence on Monday July 6th and run through September 4th. Please scroll down to view events that are divided amongst age groups, progression balls and UTR Levels. We have a tremendous amount of junior and adult indoor/outdoor events over the summer! Most of our events are listed on UTR to register. Clicking on the event will allow you to register as well as view the description. Even if the event appears full, we encourage players to register as sometimes players withdraw and spaces do open up.

Saturday 7/25 • Parent/ Child Play Day

5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. • Empire Tennis Academy

Please join us for our next U8 Parent-Child Play Day on Saturday 7/25 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm! Coach Jason will lead activities and fun games for both parents and children to partner up and participate with each other. Kids ages 5-8 can register with their parents. There are a few spots remaining, so please let us know asap if you are interested in attending. Joining this event is a great way for both the parents and children to bond with each other and help grow and develop their love of tennis. If you've taken a break or would love an opportunity to get on the courts in a fun and structured play date with your child, this is the perfect event to get your kid back in the swing of things! EMPIRE TENNIS SUMMER ACADEMY

(Monday - Friday 6/22 - 9/4)

Filled with lots of tennis and fun, Empire has access to the indoor pool, outdoor playgrounds and soccer fields in addition to the indoor & outdoor tennis courts throughout the entire summer. Groups are separated by age and level, using the USTA Youth Progression balls (Red, Orange and Green). We offer the perfect balance of tennis and summer fun - more tennis for those that are serious, and more fun for the younger kids to grow their enthusiasm and love of the game. Kids can join us either for half-day (9am-Noon or 1-4pm) or full-day (9am-4pm) throughout the week. Empire's 2026 Summer Academy begins on Monday, June 22nd and runs for 11 total weeks. Players can register for an entire week, multiple weeks, or even individual days. Players who are playing on the yellow progression ball should register for our weekly themed UTR Clinics (Scroll Down).

U10 ORANGE BALL USTA ROUND ROBINS

Saturday 7/18, 8/1, 8/15, 8/29 • (2:00 - 5:00 p.m.)

Empire is proud to host several round robin tournaments for junior players ages 10 and under year round. For our Summer Semester, these events will run from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. If you are interested in registering, please reach out to Junior Program Director Julian Danko to see if your child is ready to start competing in these tournaments. Juniors should be in our Intermediate and Advanced Level Orange Ball Classes.

Empire Tennis Academy Junior Yellow Ball Events

(Ages 11-17)

Empire will continue to host their weekly regular programming throughout the summer semester. In Addition to weekly programming, we will host Yellow Ball UTR Clinics that run from Monday - Friday from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. outdoors for players playing on the yellow ball.

Over the summer, Empire hosts weekly themed clinics. Players can register for multiple weeks. Click on the links below to read each clinic's description. Players should make sure their UTR is in the required range. Clinics are held on the outdoor tennis courts at Empire Tennis Academy from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Tennis Saves Summer Junior Yellow Ball Events

(Ages 11-17)

Tennis Saves Junior Singles League

Tennis Saves is excited to bring back our very successful Rochester Junior Singles League for players between the ages of 11 and 17. Organized by Tennis Saves founder, Jason Speirs, this is our third summer running this summer league. The league will run for 9 weeks (Monday, June 15th through the week of August 14th), followed by a semi-final Playoffs (the weeks of August 17th and 24th) for those that play a minimum of five matches. Matches will be played from 6:30 - 8:30 pm on Monday through Thursday nights.

Each match consists of two sets with ad scoring up to six. 7 point tie-breaker at 6-6. If you split sets, a 10-point tie-breaker will determine the winner. Tennis balls and assigned court will be provided upon arrival. Further details on can be found by clicking on the event's page by clicking on the registration link.

Tennis Saves Rochester Junior Grand Prix

Tennis Saves is hosting our Annual Summer Grand Prix Series with several events held at participating locations throughout the Greater Rochester Area, leading up to the Invitational Masters Event on 8/29 and 8/30. These weekend events are a great way to obtain matchplay experience against opponents who travel from all over at an inexpensive cost to sign up. When registering, please register in the correct group based upon your CURRENT SINGLES UTR. Those who do not have a rating should register for the Entry Group. CARDIO TENNIS

Saturdays 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. • Sundays 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

For intermediate level and higher players, cardio tennis classes are offered on both Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. you would like to register for a cardio class for this upcoming weekend, either on Saturday or Sunday, please email frank@empiretennisacademy.com and specify the day you would like to come. Weekly cardio classes are drop in classes, and players can only register for classes the week of to secure a spot. If cardio classes fill up for the week, the players who couldn't get in will be given priority for the following week.
