American Job Center (AJC)

of Lancaster and Saunders Counties

We are a job center serving Lancaster and Saunders Counties. Our center serves as a navigation point where job seekers and businesses can access a variety of employment services. We work together with training providers, employers and a network of partner agencies to reduce barriers for jobseekers while providing workforce solutions to local businesses. We serve both unemployed and underemployed individuals, offering Basic and Individualized Career Services. Our goal is to connect jobseekers to positions and training opportunities in a H3 Job Industry (High Wage, High Demand, and High Skill). We also offer a variety of workshops, training opportunities, hiring events, and coaching to ensure jobseekers and businesses are being connected. In-person and virtual services are available to jobseekers.

Landscapes Unlimited, LLC one of the country's premier golf course and recreational development firms has several employment opportunities for golf course construction laborers in the Gretna area. Positions are temporary, approx.. 4 weeks and will involve the construction of a brand new golf course. EmployLNK Career Fair Report

The EmployLNK Career Fair was held on Thursday October 7th, at the Center for People in Need and was a win for the Lincoln community. The fair brought together 42 businesses, 5 community resource providers and more than 50 job seekers. More than two-thirds of the employers indicated they are very likely to attend a future EmployLNK Career Fair.
