Dear Orange County Family –

In recognition of National Employee Appreciation Day, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for each and every one of you, and all you do to ensure Orange County is place in which everyone can live and thrive.

To say the past year has been challenging is an understatement. It’s been a year filled with adapting to change and overcoming countless obstacles in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact locally and across the globe. But through it all, you have persevered.

You’ve demonstrated how resilient Orange County employees truly are. You’ve served as an example not only for each other, but for our community as we all worked together to keep each other safe and healthy. Most importantly, you’ve continued to provide essential services to our residents, visitors and businesses, all while enduring your own struggles.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for your commitment to public service, to Orange County Government and to our community. Our successes would not be possible without each and every one of you. I hope you know just how much you’re appreciated and valued. I am so grateful for all of our employees not just today, but every day.
