Team Mindanao

Meeting Philip Lloyd Taburan in Iligan City

From the moment I arrived in Mindanao, I was captivated by the natural beauty that surrounds the region. The lush greenery, pristine beaches, and incredible biodiversity that Mindanao is renowned for have been part of the ultimate southern Philippine experience. Exploring places like Iligan City, multiple places in Bukidnon, Oroqueta, and CDO allowed me to connect with both the city and nature in a way that I had never experienced before. Everything is a short drive away, may it be beaches, waterfalls, or mountainous sceneries that you only thought you’d see in the movies or poster cards.

However, what also stood out the most during my time in Mindanao was the warmth and kindness of the local people. Whether it was engaging in conversations with the locals in small villages or big cities, we were consistently greeted with smiles, open arms, and genuine hospitality. This sense of community and camaraderie made me feel at home even though I was far away from my own.

I would also like to extend my appreciation to Decedoll and Gwilym who played a pivotal role in facilitating the Mindanao journey. Their local area knowledge and guidance ensured that we could make the most of our time and truly engage with the essence of each municipality while meeting the lovely people of JPO who are based all over the region. Meeting them in person and talking to them made it feel like we have known each other personally for years even though that we only previously spoke over the Internet. It was a surreal experience that all parties enjoyed throughout the time that we spent together.

I would like to give a big thank you to JPO for making this incredible experience possible. I hope to return to Mindanao in the future to further explore its treasures and look forward to continuing to share my positive experiences with others.

Maayong adlaw, Mindanao!

Welcome Back

Janice!

It’s been 4 years since I first met Janice in person. I met Janice during my 2nd week of joining JustPressOne Inc as she visited the Philippines to see how the Cebu team was doing in their first year.

Now after 4 short years, I finally got to see Janice once again and she hasn’t aged a day! Reuniting with Janice is not just a chance to reconnect, but also a moment to reflect on the progress we've all made since our last interaction. I'm sure we'll have plenty of stories to share and insights to exchange.

Janice’s presence is a reminder of the positive influence that she has to the whole organization, and I'm grateful for the chance to express my heartfelt appreciation in person once again. This time, outside of Microsoft Teams!

Once Upon a Time in Cebu

As a graphic artist accustomed to crafting pixels and colors from the comfort of my home, the prospect of stepping into the physical realm of JPO's on-site office filled me with a mix of exhilaration and curiosity. The thought of finally seeing the faces behind the virtual meetings, sharing design ideas in person, and immersing myself in the tangible atmosphere of creativity had me counting down the days.

My whole duration in Cebu offered a chance to connect with colleagues on a more personal level. Discussing not only the latest design trends but also our hobbies, interests, and weekend plans. The casual banter felt like a palette cleanser for the mind, a reminder that creativity thrives in the studio and the simple act of sharing stories and experiences.

As the evening descend and our time together drew to a close, I couldn't help but marvel at the day's events. Cebu had been more than a glimpse into the workspace; it was an immersion into a vibrant community of creatives who shared a common language of design. The experience ignited a renewed passion for my craft, reminding me that art flourishes in solitude and the company of kindred spirits.

I just wanted to share how incredible our work trip to Cebus was! The island hopping was a blast - we snorkeled and enjoyed the sun. Plus, meeting the leadership team and our bosses in person for the first time was fantastic. Putting faces to names strengthened our team even more. Can't wait for the next Cebu visit!

-Krenery Ann Carlos Support & Quality Development Supervisor

My trip to Cebu last week made me realize that I was lucky to be part of JPO as I know that we are growing and will be helping promising and talented people in the future. I also met the lady CEO, Janice who is humble and kind.

We stayed in Cebu for 6 days and 5 nights and got a jampacked schedule. We had limited time to enjoy the company of our workmates and enjoy the province, but I hope that we can explore Cebu's beauty and history next time. I'm looking forward to Cebu Part 2 - JPO.

Positive

Testimonial

I just wanted to brag about Sarah, we got a 5-star review from an AHS customer because of Sarah's professionalism and attitude on the phone even though the customer did not end up wanting the repair and actually wants to cancel the policy. Sheri from 249847848 said; "The receptionist is wonderful, very professional. \n The work did not take place." and gave 5 stars.

Thank you Sarah!

Recognizing

Excellence

Awarding events provide an opportunity to acknowledge the collaborative efforts of team members. By recognizing Individual and collective achievements, a strong sense of unity is fostered among colleagues, enhancing team spirit and promoting a positive work environment. Group awards help break down barriers and encourage "Us" employees to go beyond individual aspirations and support each other's growth.

Receiving recognition for one's efforts can significantly boost motivation. Having these awarding ceremonies acknowledges the accomplishments of the entire team, ensuring that all members feel valued and appreciated. This recognition acts as a driving force, motivating employees to persevere and strive for continued success. When other team members witness their peers being awarded, it inspires healthy competition and encourages everyone to push their limits.

Having this recognition plays a crucial role in fostering employee engagement and promoting a sense of belonging. Recognizing the achievements of the entire team cultivates a bond between employees and the organization, instilling loyalty. Employees who feel valued and appreciated are more likely to remain committed to their work, contributing to higher retention rates and reduced turnover. This positively impacts the overall stability and growth of the organization.
