Bike to Work Day is Thursday, May 9!
25th Annual Bay Area Bike to Work Day
Pledge to ride on Bike to Work Day and you could win a trip to Alaska!

The 25 th Annual Bay Area Bike to Work Day is on Thursday, May 9! We are coordinating with almost 50 energizer stations throughout San Mateo County where volunteers will offer free refreshments and swag for participants.

Commuters who log bike trips during Bike to Work Week ( May 6 – 10) will be entered to win a special bike commuter prize pack that includes a commuter bag, U-lock, and repair toolkit. You can sign up and start logging trips at my.commute.org.

Commute Superheroes - Accept the Challenge
Show off your superpowers by embracing new transportation modes other than driving alone! Join our 2019 Commuter Challenge from April 1st through May 31st.

Commute.org is encouraging San Mateo County businesses to motivate employees to be superhero commuters. Commuters who choose alternative transportation modes will be rewarded with a chance to win great weekly prizes such as:

-           Disneyland 1-Day Pass for 2
-           Amazon Kindle
-           Echo Dot
-           Fitbit Charge 3
-           Wallet Ninja
-           $40 Clipper Card
-           $25 E-Gift Card*

Greening your business?
We have an event coming up that may be of special interest to employers in the green spirit. On May 15, we will be at the 2019 Spring San Mateo County Green Business Mixer at Devil's Canyon Brewing Co. a certified Green Business in San Carlos. This event is sponsored by the San Mateo County Green Business Program .

Refreshments and networking begin at 5:30 pm, with a brief program to kick-off at 6 pm.
