On May 18, 2020, Governor Baker issued the "Safer at Home" Advisory for Massachusetts, which tells residents to:
- Continue to observe the stay at home advisory if they have an underlying health condition and/or at least 65 years of age;
- If under 65 and no health condition, stay home unless they are leaving for a healthcare appointment, worship, work, shopping, or outdoor activity;
- Cover their face if they cannot maintain social distance (minimum of 6 feet separation); and
- Wash hands.
